Welcome to the Eleventh Annual Artists' Open House Weekend: A
unique event that has become an art-lover's tradition on Columbus
Day Weekend - October 6, 7 & 8, 2007. All studios are open
daily 10am-6pm.

This self-guided tour to over 30 artists at 21 locations features
the abundant beauty of Susquehanna County: unique wood-, gas-,
& electric-fired ceramics: abstract and representational painting:
photography: wood-carving: sculpture: stone walls: porcelain painting:
furniture; and many other artistic expressions. This year we have
new artists and new studios, plus most of your favorites from
years past. This is a great chance to observe art being created
and chat with your local artists. Some of these studios are only
open this one weekend of the year. Others will welcome you to
return once you know the way.
In 2005 we officially instituted Demo Day Monday. Many artists
are demonstrating an aspect of their craft. This is a great chance
to see how it is done and you can enjoy some at-length conversation
in relaxed surroundings. You may wish to inquire ahead as to the
nature of the demonstration you are interested in. Some will be
on-going. Some will be scheduled. All will be fun for the artists
to share and a chance for you to learn something new or get some
insight in to the 'how and why' of creative skill.
The tour is free. All artists have work for sale in their studios-some
take credit cards. All welcome browsers.
Artists donate a portion of their sales to benefit Florence Shelly
Preserve, Woodbourne Forest Preserve and Salt Springs State Park.
We encourage you to discover these beautiful natural areas in
Susquehanna County.
Have fun
follow the hot pink ART arrows

permits, bring a picnic or buy one from our 'friends'.
We welcome you to our picturesque corner of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
