Carol
grew up in North Jersey and is now living in Montrose, Pa. where
she is the owner of the Tea-Time Art Studio-Gallery, 6 Chestnut
Street. She received her art training from her Great-Aunt Lena
Egg who was an outstanding artist. Carol has been a participant
in the Susquehanna County Artist Open House Tour, Columbus Day
weekend since its inception 10 years ago.
Inspiration
for the majority of her subject matter springs from things that
have shaped the past; old photos, post cards and newspapers. Intrigued
by history, she hopes her paintings can stir peoples' memories.
"I am fortunate to be able to devote my time doing something
that gives me great pleasure."
Her Tea-Time Studio features her original oil paintings, limited
edition prints and porcelain china. Each piece of china is meticulously
handpainted, kiln-fired and signed.
