Maureen Van Nostrand - Come visit Maureen’s studio and see her new “still life” pieces. One of her recent still life paintings was selected into a juried art show this year at the Butternut Gallery. Her other painting selected into the show was a surreal cityscape of Montrose, and that will also be up at her studio. She continues to work on all subject matters on various sized canvases that will be displayed throughout her open studio.

Maureen has done a lot of commissioned works of art for people over the years, and looks forward to creating more. So bring your ideas for your own personalized oil painting, or as the perfect gift for that special someone in your life who is always so hard to buy for.

This year she was voted into the Presidency of the local Hill Country Artist art group. This group allows her the opportunity to display and sell her work at Congressman Chris Carney’s Clarks Summit satellite office, the Montrose Hospital, Pennstar Bank, J&J Restaurant, the Susquehanna Medical Center, the Rehab Center in Montrose, and the Snake Creek Alpaca Farm and Village. Her work is also on display all year at Pure Pennsylvania Gallery and Store, and during the summer at the Chocolate and Wine Festival and Blueberry Festival in Montrose.
