Thank you for your consideration in applying for the Artists’ Open House Weekend.

We require 6 images of recent work along with size and descriptions.  Please make these images be of high quality.  Along with your demographic information, we would like to know about your past experiences related to art.  This could include schooling, experience, shows, awards, group affiliations…..any information that will help us to get to know you and your work.  

 

The deadline for application submission is December 31, 2024

Jurying will take place in early January.  Along with the information and images you provide, the jurying committee will also consider how your work fits into what the tour already offers.  We try to seek balance in media and style in order to create a more interesting tour.  As an “open studio” tour, we hope that you will be able to show for the three days of the tour at your studio.  One of our grants is related to the concept of visitors getting a behind-the-scenes-look at how art is created.  Not all of our artists can demonstrate their art but it is encouraged, again to educate our visitors and fulfill our grant’s mission.  We only allow a maximum of 25 to 30% of tour artists to show at a place other than their home/studio.
